Colle atmosphere and reasonable prices!

I've been there several times. We also had very, very bad experiences with the waitress. Mega rude, if not slightly aggressive and very, very dominant. We didn't let that happen last time and left. They even accept tips (which is not justified here) in a derogatory way. Otherwise it is a very cool bar. Good location, busy in summer as many are at Willi. Everything about drinks there and the prices also good. If they had some nice staff, I would have rated it well. I hope the owner will notice the reviews here

A cozy pub and really friendly staff

Nice pub with a predominantly young crowd. A few beers to choose from, so there is something for everyone! I was there quite early, but I can vividly imagine that the bear will be quilting there from 9 p.m.

Cool bar with unique decor and atmosphere, has some typical pub games like a foosball table. One star less because the staff were super slow, and I didn’t think my drink matched its price. Still a great hangout spot with friends if you’re just out for a fun night, though.

By far the most unfriendly waitress I've ever seen. Although the ambience is very chic, it is not nearly enough to compensate for this appearance.

Lively bar, great staff, great music, great drinks. I took my mother here when she visited and even she really liked it.

Göttingen cult pub with its own charm. Always well attended in the evening and popular with young people in particular. The choice of drinks is good. The daily changing offers also invite you to end an evening at the Thanners.

Unfriendly staff

Rustic and special. A selected location, something like that is rare. Good service and beer was delicious. The toilet was unfortunately already from a distance to smell and not a place where you want to stay longer ...

The Thanners is a long-established restaurant in Göttingen. The atmosphere is typical of the old town and gives a nice ambience. The prices are reasonable for the city center.

The drinks are cold, the music is atmospheric and the staff is the best I have ever seen in a bar. On Wednesdays it can get a bit fuller but it's always worthwhile to stop by for a beer.

Perfect evening and as JGA food everything was super organized including drinks for the expecting husband.

Really nice place to hangout with friends or getting to know someone new.

It has a very cozy and nice atmosphere. The beer is of good quality and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Nice place, but there were so many people that getting a beer was really hard.

Had my first ever Eerdbeere bier here, which I now love and look forward to having again. Also great atmosphere.

This a typical pub with no TV, but with some typical pub games. Place is populated mostly by young people, probably students from local university: quite an international crowd as a matter if fact. White vine on special was terrible. Even though I don't like beer, I wish I had one 😀

Lovely German pub

A very nice place, almost all wood, is a very German atmosphere 😂, recommended !!

It's small,nice and cozy bar. It's a non smoking bar and one can have traditional beer and other drinks. Drinks are comparatively cheap starting from €2.5. Bathroom is clean but there is only one bathroom. They closes at 3am in the weekend. I liked their music choice. Overall it's a nice pub and one of the best in Göttingen.

Really great pub with all the classic German beers. Lots of seating inside and outside with a free foosball table inside. Lots of cozy corners and the decor is classic old wood style. Wednesday are very busy with the beer specials. Highly recommended!

Interesting interior. But being in Germany almost in its very heart wants something else. To my great regret, there is practically no draft beer here. And you can drink a bottle at home. In general, without enthusiasm.

Die Partykneipe mitten in Göttingen.

One of the few lovely places in the city for non students. Can get really crowded. The interior looks nice, with its ancient wooden structure.
